When my husband inherited a large sum of money, we were finally able to buy a plot of land and start construction on our dream home. For years, we had been living in a cramped apartment in a crowded city. Now, at last, we would be able to move out into the countryside and construct a large house in which we could spend our retirement. My husband and I worked closely with the designer and the construction contractors to ensure that our dream home was just how we wanted it to be.
